🧯What is Prep2Survive? (Spoiler: It’s Not About Turning Into a Navy SEAL)

When I first started researching emergency preparedness, I fell into a black hole of doom, gloom, and dudes. Everywhere I turned it was all camo face paint, underground bunkers, and guys talking about “SHTF scenarios” like they were auditioning for The Walking Dead.

Prepping felt like a boy’s club— and not the helpful kind. The message was loud and clear: unless you were stockpiling ammo, growing your own wheat, and answering only to your tactical call sign, you weren’t doing it right.

That’s when I decided to flip the script.
Prep2Survive was born from the belief that prepping doesn’t have to be hardcore, intimidating, or soaked in testosterone. You don’t need a beard, a bunker, or a background in special ops to be ready for life’s chaos.

This brand is for the rest of us. (Hi I'm Shelby! Nice to meet you!)

The apartment dwellers and the rural homesteaders.
The moms, aunties, college students, and caregivers who know that when things go sideways, we’re the ones holding it all together.

At Prep2Survive, we’re all about turning fear into focus and chaos into calm.

We believe in being ready—not scared. We prepare for 3 days of grid-down just as seriously as we prepare for 3 months of job loss. We don’t wait for someone to save us—we build systems that help us stay afloat no matter what hits.

No, we don’t think the world is ending. But as you dive deeper, you will see the world is getting very weird!  But yes, we do think the power could go out, wildfires will be abundant, flash floods seem to be the rage, the supply chain could break, and your 3-year-old will choose the exact moment the internet dies to demand snacks like it’s their full-time job.

Prepping isn’t about paranoia. It’s about peace of mind.

Whether you’re living in a city studio or a ranch with goats, Prep2Survive is here to help you make a plan, gather your gear, and stay ready—without sacrificing your sanity (or your comfort).

We’re not here to scare you.
We’re here to say: “Girl, get it together.”
And we’ll show you how.
