đ§ŻWhat is Prep2Survive? (Spoiler: Itâs Not About Turning Into a Navy SEAL)
When I first started researching emergency preparedness, I fell into a black hole of doom, gloom, and dudes. Everywhere I turned it was all camo face paint, underground bunkers, and guys talking about âSHTF scenariosâ like they were auditioning for The Walking Dead.
Prepping felt like a boyâs clubâ and not the helpful kind. The message was loud and clear: unless you were stockpiling ammo, growing your own wheat, and answering only to your tactical call sign, you werenât doing it right.
Thatâs when I decided to flip the script.
Prep2Survive was born from the belief that prepping doesnât have to be hardcore, intimidating, or soaked in testosterone. You donât need a beard, a bunker, or a background in special ops to be ready for lifeâs chaos.
This brand is for the rest of us. (Hi I'm Shelby! Nice to meet you!)
The apartment dwellers and the rural homesteaders.
The moms, aunties, college students, and caregivers who know that when things go sideways, weâre the ones holding it all together.
At Prep2Survive, weâre all about turning fear into focus and chaos into calm.
We believe in being readyânot scared. We prepare for 3 days of grid-down just as seriously as we prepare for 3 months of job loss. We donât wait for someone to save usâwe build systems that help us stay afloat no matter what hits.
No, we donât think the world is ending. But as you dive deeper, you will see the world is getting very weird! But yes, we do think the power could go out, wildfires will be abundant, flash floods seem to be the rage, the supply chain could break, and your 3-year-old will choose the exact moment the internet dies to demand snacks like itâs their full-time job.
Prepping isnât about paranoia. Itâs about peace of mind.
Whether youâre living in a city studio or a ranch with goats, Prep2Survive is here to help you make a plan, gather your gear, and stay readyâwithout sacrificing your sanity (or your comfort).
Weâre not here to scare you.
Weâre here to say: âGirl, get it together.â
And weâll show you how.
